Zoé Aztán

On Zoé's Aztlán, we faced the challenge of a high-stakes, fast-paced recording process with producer Phil Vinall. Our philosophy was to achieve efficiency without compromising on sound, using a curated blend of vintage and modern gear to capture the album’s raw energy. Our work was a key factor in laying the foundation for an album that went on to be recognized as a pivotal moment in the band's career, showcasing our ability to collaborate with legendary professionals like Craig Silvey and Jack Lahana.

Zoé Panoramas

I mixed the instrumental album Panoramas, a unique project for the band that was a soundtrack for the documentary directed by Rodrigo Guardiola. The album was produced by Phil Vinall alongside the band. I worked hand in hand with Sergio Acosta to create its dynamic and warm, cinematic sound. My contributions, alongside Phil Vinall, helped create a pivotal and immersive moment in the band's career.

Micky Huidobro El Gentleman del Rock

I recorded and mixed El Gentleman del Rock, an album produced by Micky Huidobro himself. My work on this fast-paced, direct-to-tape project helped capture the raw rock and roll sound Micky wanted. I completed the mix in my personal studio to maintain full creative control, and the album was mastered by Mat Leffler-Schulman.

Lori Meyers - En la Espiral

I worked as the main mixing engineer for Lori Meyers' album En la Espiral. I collaborated with producer Phil Vinall in his studio in Mexico, managing a long-distance process with the band in Spain. The album was a resounding success, reaching the #1 spot in Spain for six months.

Fake Fruit - Mucho Mistrust

I mastered Fake Fruit's album Mucho Mistrust, a project that required a meticulous touch. Although the mixes were compressed, my goal was to open them up and add clarity, prioritizing a dynamic and musical sound over loudness. The band was thrilled with the result, which brought a new sense of space to the music. The album, released on Carpark Records, earned critical acclaim, including a positive review from Pitchfork.

Javier Blake - Cuenta a Dios Tus Planes

I mastered Javier Blake's album Cuenta a Dios Tus Planes, a project that required a careful touch. The tracks, mixed by various engineers, lacked cohesion. My master was able to unify the sound, creating a single, powerful album. Javier was very happy with the final result, which is the album he is currently touring with.
